Christin returns to Triangle 2 after a short stint at Daxko as the Engage Adoption Specialist. Prior to this work Christin served, for five years, as the National Specialist for Arts and Humanities for the YMCA of the USA. In this role she oversaw and supported a network of more than 1,700 YMCAs engaged in arts and humanities programs. Other responsibilities include developing arts training for YMCA professionals, speaking about arts and program innovation and discovering new and innovative arts and humanities programs and replicating them across the country.
Christin joined YMCA of the USA in 2004 in the Financial Development Office. As the National Financial Development Manager, she secured and managed key corporate partnerships to advance YMCA programs. She worked with companies such as The Disney Channel, the Tylenol brand, Reader’s Digest and USA Swimming.
At the YMCA National Office Christin was tapped to lead creative projects. She was the creative producer behind the launch of a national intranet called “Y Exchange” by creating the video series “Old Exchange/New Exchange”. She also lead a team that conceptualized and produced the video series for the Learning and Career Development Center. She began her career working for Regency Productions in Los Angeles, before moving to a television credits position with the Writer’s Guild of America. She has filmed and edited digital videos for YMCA events and provided arts consulting to community groups.
Christin holds a bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master's of Organizational Development and Management for Non-Profit Organizations from Springfield College.
